An evening show of “Anywhich Way But Loose” starring Clint Eastwood and an orangutan. It would probably have been appropriate if it was dark and stormy, but as I was still a few hours from being born, I couldn’t tell you. All I do know is that just as the opening credits finished my mother’s water broke. It was nearly 16 years before she went to a movie again.

During the years between, Peggy (aka Mommy to my brothers and I) managed to keep us under control most of the time. Sparking and encouraging interests in sports, computers, reading, music and art, I’ll be the first to conceed any positive character traits to her tyrannical upbringing.

Oldest of three, and arguably the hippest, my early years aren’t populated with too many traumatic experiences. One thing that does stand out is my early love of performing which has undeniably directed my trajectory since those first early Church productions. As all good older sisters are, I’ve functioned as a proper bad influence over my brothers, Bart and Brett. I’ve kept them humble with a precise amount of mental and physical torment and like all little brothers should, they worship me.

Higher education has honed my motivation and coordinated my energies into writing and production as well as tempering my sometimes runaway creativity. I’m realistic about my expectations and confident in my skills but flexible enough to know that there’s always plenty left to learn.

As things stand now, I’ve faired the storm and still retain most of my wits. If I’ve gleaned anything, it’s the appreciation for a good story. I hope one day to learn everything necessary tell my own stories through any availble means and to do so successfully. :::
