Circumstantial flummery from a would-be spoonbean hustler.

noteworthy whims

Decided to take a swing at the ABC/Disney Fellowship last week, oh, about Wednesday. The deadline was Friday. Usually I’m all about ‘well in advance’ but this one is free, aside from the notarized, DNA stamped application packet. It was nice to find out that I know someone who can notarize on short notice. I should just start getting things notarized at random, or better yet, I could become a notary and then just notarize like a crazy person. I could notarize birthday cards and letters, my bills…*Cue HARP MUSIC and wavey dream-sequence transition* At a movie theater:
Concession Drone: “Are you sure you don’t want to upsize to a large popcorn?”
Me: “No thanks.”
Concession Drone: “It’s only 50 cents more!”
Me: “Seriously, dude, no thanks.”
Concession Drone: “That’ll be 11 dollars.”
Me: “Alright, I’m going to need you to sign and date here, *stamp*. If this popcorn sale comes up in court, you’ll be called as a material witness.”
Concession Drone: “…”
But don’t worry concession drones, because as most people know- I DO NOT EAT MOVIE THEATER POPCORN! Unless I’m there and I have made it myself. The scars.
Meanwhile I need to come up with a new title for “The Laugh Dance” As I rewrite I discover I have absolutely no clue what this script is about anymore. And I’ve renamed all the characters and locations. And maybe kinda thinking about making it neither romantic or comedic. Actually that last one wouldn’t really involve any work I could just leave it the way it is and accomplish that.I always feel like I forget how to start a script when I pass Go.

And for final mention, I repeat a post from several months back- Futurama has been picked up for 13 more episodes by Comedy Central. With all the “they were doinging it, they weren’t…” it can be confusing. Also confusing- Comedy Central being involved. But Fox is still on board all the voice cast is signed and we can hoping the writers/producers will be the same also. So if you’re counting 13 new episodes + the 4 DVD movies = 17 new adventures and I can’t imagine it won’t do well, so who knows what the future holds for Futurama! We love you Bender!
