Redesigned the dotcom with WordPress to spice things up. Xiaoxin’s been trying to convert me to drupal but it’s become apparent I don’t really need such an extensive CMS- besides the fact I’m still perfectly content to use Joomla for things that do need such management. (Although the differences with drupal’s Hooks and structure are kind of interesting.)

So playing around with template variables and css again. Managed a nice facimile of the old Joomla template but I wanted to change it up and that led to this and the other and I photoshopped the header image to death. Then I couldn’t decide on what I wanted. Beer was prominent for a while. I can always go for some beer. Then I pretty much decided on Archie’s desk from W 35th St, but Timothy Hutton’s hands look nothing like my own. Didn’t want to risk confusion. Settled on this photo from Mom’s x-country drive a few years back as I feel menaced by hazard most days. C’est la vie.
